ABOUT PROJECT
Invest Komfort is a premium real estate developer from the Tri-City area, specializing in high-end seaside developments. To align with evolving business goals, the management initiated a digital transformation of their web presence. The objective was to pivot from a standard corporate site to a fully responsive, lifestyle-oriented portal that functions as a high-conversion sales tool and a culture-shaping hub.
CORE OBJECTIVES & UX SOLUTIONS:
Immersive Property Showcases: Conversion-focused subpages featuring rich media and a seamless integration with the YSLAB interactive engine for an advanced spatial experience.
Frictionless Search & Discovery: A high-performance, intuitive search engine designed to reduce user effort and improve findability.
Tailored User Journey (Property Configurator): A bespoke lead-generation tool that automates the matching process, personalizing the user flow and accelerating the decision-making cycle.
Content-Led Brand Authority: A dedicated content hub (podcasts, video, long-form articles) designed to build brand equity and community engagement. This strategic move aims to leverage content marketing to differentiate the brand in a competitive market and shorten the sales funnel.
DESIGN PROCESS
During the Invest Komfort website project, I worked within a multidisciplinary team consisting of a business analyst, UX designers, a researcher, and an art director.
My responsibilities included:
Aligning with Business Objectives: Deep-diving into the product's business goals and strategic requirements.
Empathy Mapping: Analyzing Empathy Maps to better understand user pain points and motivations.
Discovery Phase Analysis: Reviewing personas, User FlowsUser Stories, and the Sitemap developed in Miro.
Stakeholder Workshops: Participating in workshops to align client requirements with technical feasibility and development constraints.
Client Presentations: Leading presentations of my design modules and project progress.
Data-Driven Insights: Conducting a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the previous website using Hotjar (heatmaps and session recordings).
Information Architecture: Actively contributing to the creation of the Information Architecture (IA) and Sitemap.
UX DESIGN
The UX design was a highly complex process, with the navigation architecture proving to be the most significant challenge. At this stage, my responsibilities included:
Ideation & Solution Iteration: Drafting various navigation concepts to balance a massive content hub with a conversion-driven sales funnel.
Lo-fi Prototyping: Creating low-fidelity wireframes to test different menu structures and user paths.
Navigation Optimization: Refining the Information Architecture (IA) to ensure seamless transitions between real estate listings and the lifestyle content section.
Usability Verification: Analyzing how different navigation patterns impacted the overall user cognitive load.
UI TASKS & DESIGN IMPLEMENTATION
UI Workstream Distribution: The UI tasks were distributed across the team. My responsibility was to design the homepage concept and a sample subpage for both desktop and mobile breakpoints.
Editorial Aesthetics: The UI design for the homepage and subpage followed a magazine-style layout. The homepage was envisioned as a multi-sensory portal, engaging users through visual content (articles/video) and auditory experiences (podcasts).
Inclusive Design (WCAG): The project adhered strictly to WCAG guidelines, focusing on high-contrast elements and optimized typography for maximum readability.
Design System & Component Library: I developed a comprehensive component library, including all interactive states (buttons, input fields with validation, lists, push notifications, timers, etc.).
Gamified Property Configurator: I designed a quiz-based property configurator with engaging Call to Action (CTA) elements. This interactive approach was designed not only to streamline the selection process but also to foster an emotional connection with the product, ultimately driving business conversion.
PROJECT SUMMARY AND EXECUTION
The Invest Komfort project was a significant professional challenge. Beyond the initial discovery and design phases, I was deeply involved in the continuous development of the platform within Figma. I also oversaw the preparation of all graphic assets for final implementation, collaborating closely with developers from Netizens to ensure design fidelity.
The entire process spanned 1.5 years, culminating in the official launch in mid-September 2024.
Through this project, I significantly expanded my expertise in large-scale team collaboration and participated in high-level knowledge exchanges with industry experts, including a UX Designer from Zalando Berlin.
Key Achievements:
Streamlined Discovery: We successfully implemented an intuitive, high-accessibility search engine.
Premium Presentation: Developed comprehensive property subpages that provide an immersive look at exclusive apartments and their surroundings.
Cultural Hub Launch: We designed a sophisticated content section featuring influential figures and brand ambassadors such as Agnieszka HollandMarcin Kydryński, and Jacek Poręba, effectively positioning the brand as a cultural leader.
